A Non-Costly Wedding

Weddings don’t have to be pricey. Just why people seem to think they do, I’ll never know. It’s not even that everything involved necessarily adds up to a lot of money, its that brides and grooms (not so much grooms) seem to want to up the cost wherever possible. There is a myth that the best things are the most costly. They’re not. What about love? It doesn’t cost a thing (that’s a lyric from somewhere). Weddings should be about sharing and spreading the joy amongst friends and families, they should not be the cause of a few sprouting white hairs and strange pains shooting up the arms. There are many ways of making a wedding economical without feeling like you’re selling yourself short, or missing out on anything. The first most valuable way of saving money, is to get friends and family involved- they’ll love you for it too! By this point you will have amassed friends from various different industries, maybe? If you know a chef, get him/her to help with the catering. If you know an arty type or photographer, get them to take lovely photos at your wedding, or get them to help customise a wedding dress. Oh the possibilities..
