Sunset, Sea and Sangria in Ibiza
By far the best party island in Europe, if not in the world, Ibiza is probably rivaled only by Mykonos (Greece). The low-season (winter) is pretty much a “dead” season since everything is closed, including the famous clubs. But during the summer season everything comes back to life as the clubs open with fancy parties which draw party goes from all over the world. The season starts in June, with the opening parties at Space and DC10. It ends in September with another “round” of parties, this time called “closing parties”. The clubs are mostly concentrated in two areas on the island : Ibiza Town and San Antoni. However, it’s also known that Ibiza has never been a cheap destination. Keep in mind that just in order to enter a club you need to pay on average 30-50 per person, while drinks start at 10. So if your budget doesn’t seem fit for such expenses, is it still possible to visit Ibiza and enjoy it? Yes, it is. There are enough Ibiza hotels catering for those who are on a limited budget and don’t care much about five-star facilities but do care to stay in a clean room. There are so many low-cost airlines serving the island, that finding cheap airline tickets is not exactly a problem either. But if you really want to save money and don’t care about the nightlife either, you can plan to arrive in Ibiza right before the season starts. The weather is nice but the crowds are non-existent. But on the plus side, you cans still eating fresh sea food and watching the incredible sunsets. And you can see the island as it really is and not suffocated by party goers.
